University performs well in The Guardian table:

Thanks to all members of staff who have helped Staffordshire University to climb eight places in the latest Guardian league table.
We are currently ranked 66th out of 117 institutions, a great improvement on the previous year when we were 74th.

This current score places us among some of the highest performing modern universities in the sector, which is epitomised by the success of the Faculty of Sciences, who excelled within their own subject area tables, particularly Geography, which came 14th out of 60 making it the highest placed post-1992 Geography department and higher than any of our regional competitors.
