Where We Are
Located in the heart of England, Staffordshire is easily accessible by road, rail and air. The University itself is split over two campuses: Stafford and Stoke. With just 18 miles between them, and excellent transport links between the two, both are less than 5 minutes from the M6 motorway, less than an hour’s train journey from Birmingham and Manchester and only 1 hour 25 minutes from London.
Our campuses
Approximately 1½ miles from the town centre, Stafford Campus is situated on a greenfield site surrounded by beautiful countryside. This is the smaller of the two main University campuses, offering a quieter atmosphere than its city-centre partner.

Stoke campus is right in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent’s city centre. Recent enhancements at Stoke have included an extensive landscaping project adding ‘green’ areas within the campus area. Also on campus we have our own nature reserve housing various wildlife as part of the University’s strategy for conservation.

Both campuses boast extensive sports and leisure facilities, from fully-equipped gyms to all-weather floodlit pitches for football, rugby, hockey, netball and tennis. The sports hall also provides most indoor sports including badminton and squash.
