Higher Education Achievement Record

What is HEAR?

The Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR) provides a single comprehensive record of your achievement. It is a digital transcript you can access once you have completed your studies.

The HEAR is designed to be shared securely with others, for example with a potential employer or other higher education institution. It will fully capture your academic performance and a range of non-academic achievements, enhancing your employability.

It is an extended academic transcript and will contain detailed information about your learning and achievements and along with your degree certificate will support applications for employment and further study.

Who is eligible for the HEAR?

In July 2017 all undergraduate students completing an programme on campus will be eligible for an electronic HEAR transcript. Some of our distance learners will be too.

How can HEAR be accessed?

Staffordshire University is working in partnership with GradIntel to produce the HEAR. Eligible students will receive a registration email from GradIntel in July. If you are eligible, you will need to complete the registration with GradIntel in order to access your HEAR. The HEAR is a digitally signed document which you can share with employers, employment agencies or other universities.
