8 July 20135 August 20139 July 20131. I should be grateful if you would supply with information regarding your charging structure for validation provision. HEIs appear to have slightly different terminology and use the work accreditation and validation. I'm interested in the charges for validation events, for any annual monitoring charges, and also for annual charges eg fixed fees or per capita charging etc.

2. In the 2011/12 year I would like to understand how much income you earned from this provision. A copy of a report to a relevant committee of the University would be fine.

3. I should like a recent list of the organisations for whom you validate programmes. Id prefer only UK based organisation. I am not seeking information on franchise provision.

I hope that I am asking for only information that is readily available, and has already been provided within the University/College. If you have any questions please do email me and I'll respond. If some of this information is on the website please email back with links.

15 July 201312 August 201330 July 2013The freedom of information request is for the minutes of the Staff Development Ctte (or its equivalent) for the last two years. Basically, the staff development ctte would be the cttee that decided whose application to go on conferences, study visits etc would be funded by the University and to what extent. Please find response below relating to your freedom of information request received on the 15th July.

Both the current Faculty of CES and the previous Faculty of CET do not and did not operate approval of staff development activity via committee. It was and is currently driven via the appraisal and line management route. There is a finite fund available via internal funding which we manage these requests within.

Some externally funded projects will have elements of staff development included within it and these again are and were managed via the project leads and managers within this route.
