Staffordshire University has endorsed the Concordat and is working towards full compliance. During 2014 we have mapped University policies and processes against the Concordat and produced an action plan to address the areas that should be improved . This autumn the University put in place a new Ethical Review Policy and arrangements are in hand to ensure that all members of staff who serve on University and Faculty Ethics Committees receive training. Next year, every member of staff will be asked to undertake ethics training. We are also in the process of appointing lay members to the University and Faculty Ethics Committees. Although we are not fully compliant just yet, we take the Concordat seriously and are strengthening our policies and procedures.
