If your institution has signed what impact has this had on the research conducted at your university? Has this reduced the number of instances of research misconduct?
This includes instances of:
� Fabrication or falsification of data, information or processes
� Plagiarism /fraud
� Deception (providing false information)
� Impersonation / misrepresentation
� Violation of ethical standards regarding human or animal experiments including failure to obtain ethical approval
� Ghost writing
� Copyright violations
Please provide the number of instance of research misconduct before the signing of the 2012 Concordat to Support Research Integrity (3 years before) as well as the number of instances after signing. Please provide a full copy of any databases/spreadsheets from which information was extracted in response to this request. In the event that these records contain columns that hold personal information covered by data protection provisions, please simply delete the offending columns and send the rest of the data without them.

The University has endorsed the Research Integrity Concordat, an action plan has been developed and is currently with Faculties for consultation. Once the action plan has been approved, steps will be taken to ensure that the university's research integrity policies and procedures align with the Concordat. The review and amendment process will be completed during 2015

The Students Union was awarded Gold Best Bar None(tm) standard for the responsible operation of its venues in 2014 (we�ve been part of the scheme for 6 years) and uses both NUS and Drinkaware campaign materials.

How does your University record incidents of alcohol-related harm amongst its student body, if at all.

The Students Union has a full incident logging system within its venues as part of its operational procedures.

What guidance or polices exists, if any, relating to the marketing and promotion of alcohol in University premises and specifically, to the promotion of alcohol to first year students during Freshers or Welcome Week?

Responsible drinking policy forms part of both the on-site promotion, but also is included in the orientation of new student talks during Welcome Week.
