28 March 201625 April 201621 April 2016I request you to provide me statistics on non-EU students' failure in annual exams (when intended degree was not awarded) and programme termination during studies in the last five years at graduate, postgraduate and PhD level. Also, please provide information on their nationalities and genders.
Further, please not the following clarifications:
I am only interested in the requested information if provided free of charge/cost. I am unable to pay the cost if it is needed.
By Non-EU students I meant international students who come to the UK for study outside the 28 EU countries.
By failure I meant 'academic failures'.
By termination I meant 'either the students are withdrawn from studies or de-registered or terminated by the university due to poor/unsatisfactory academic performance.
By 'failure in annual exams' (intended degree was not awarded) I meant those students who fully fail in exams or pass some modules but fail in dissertations etc and do not get their intended degree they were initially enrolled for. For example one student enrolled for MSc degree but only awarded postgraduate diploma because he or she failed in dissertation.
