Advice from those who know best.

Speak to the people who know you best. Talk to your friends, family and, teachers. But also seek advice from people who've been there and done it themselves, like our Journalism student Emma. Here are her top tips for making your Open Day work for you:

  • Plan how you're getting there.
  • Ask about the facilities that matter to you.
  • Talk to student ambassadors, they know it all.
  • Look at what the campus has to offer.

We also suggest you:

  • Plan your day so you don't miss the things that are important to you.
  • Attend a subject session so you can understand exactly what your course has to offer.
  • Check out the accommodation so you know what's available and how much it would cost.
