After Your Foundation Degree: Top-up Courses

There are many reasons why you might want to consider progression onto an Honours degree:

  • To enhance your career development and increase your work-related skills and knowledge
  • To enable you to pursue new career paths - for example if you wish to become a teacher you usually need an honours degree in your subject area
  • To prepare yourself for further progression onto a higher degree such as a Masters, where you may become involved in detailed research into an aspect of your chosen specialist field
  • To continue in-depth study of a subject you enjoy at a higher level
  • Simply as a personal challenge and for your own personal development

Whatever your own personal reasons, there will be an Honours progression route for the Foundation degree you are studying.
