Centre for Sport, Health and Exercise Research

The Centre for Sport, Health and Exercise Research (CSHER) was established in 2001 to produce internationally recognised research in sport, exercise, physical activity and health, and to embed this research into teaching. Our staff cover five disciplines; psychology, biomechanics, physical activity and health, physiology and adapted physical activity. This collective expertise is evidenced through numerous peer-reviewed publications, books and dissemination activities, and a range of research projects  in a number of key research areas

Take a look at our news page for latest news and upcoming events.
