Research Governance

We are committed to ensuring the work of academic staff meets the highest standards of research integrity.

To support this, the University has a Code of Conduct for Research and Research Integrity. We provide policies and guidance covering a number of areas, including:

  • research ethics
  • responsible use of research metrics
  • research integrity
  • the annual professorial call
  • the appointment of visiting title holders
  • research training
  • Export Control

Research integrity at Staffordshire University is overseen by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kevin Hetherington. If you have any questions or concerns, please direct these to Research Policy and Governance Manager, Dr Jane McKay (jane.mckay@staffs.ac.uk).

The Research, Innovation and Impact Services team can provide information about all aspects of research at Staffordshire University.
