Betty SMithers Design Collection
Staffordshire University

The Betty Smithers Design Collection was established in the early 1980s. Its purpose was to complement the teaching of the former History of Art and Design Department of the North Staffordshire Polytechnic.

The collection can now be found in the Cadman Building, and supports courses across the university. The collection was renamed The Betty Smithers Collection in May 2009 in memory of Betty and her donation to the collection.
