After university I moved to London and interned at Closer magazine in the fashion department and then at Impulse London PR, whose clients include Arcadia brands Topshop and Miss Selfridge. After interning I moved into my first paid role as an assistant to jewellery designer Anna Lou of London.

I joined ASOS.com in July 2010 and I love my job at ASOS. I constantly feel inspired and lucky to be working within such an innovative company. I spend my days producing copy, researching the latest fashion trends and in discussion for new editorial.
Since graduating from Staffs I have continued to improve my skills. I have recently completed a short course in fashion at Central Saint Martin’s and am a freelance columnist for BitchBuzz.com, a women’s online magazine. I believe to achieve my long-term goals I must continue to learn and improve.

In the future I would like to work on a national magazine or newspaper, in the fashion department. I am also pursuing fashion styling as a career option for the future, as I have a real passion for clothing. At the moment however, I am very happy in my role at ASOS and feel it is a great opportunity for me.

The best thing about my course was the amazing tutors. I felt they really understood what I wanted to achieve from the course and were there with advice and guidance along the way. The skills I learnt whilst at Staffs, from shorthand to news writing, have all put me in good stead for my job now.
