By Rebecca Clark: Stoke-on-Trent’s favourite son Robbie Williams has bagged the Outstanding Contribution Award at this years Brits.
It takes his Brits total to 15, making him the most celebrated artist in the history of the event.
The star, who has had 28 top ten singles and eight number one albums over a career spanning two decades, said it was a “absolutely fantastic” and “incredibly strange”.
Previous Outstanding Contribution Award winners include U2, Oasis, Paul McCartney and the Pet Shop Boys.
