Teenager dies in Gnosall crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road collision near Gnosall.
The crash happened on the A518 at 7.25pm on Saturday (May 1) when a blue Rover collided with a black Ford.
Four ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, and the Midlands Air Ambulance attended the scene.
An 18-year-old female passenger of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 20-year-old man, suffered life threatening head injuries and received emergency treatment at the scene before being transferred to University Hospital North Staffordshire.
The other two passengers of the Ford were treated at the scene for leg and hip injuries.
The driver of the Rover, a 49-year-old man was treated at the scene for a shoulder injury. All were transferred to hospital.
