By Francis Pitt: Stoke City’s first ever FA Cup final ended in disappointment after they lost 1-0 to a Yaya Toure second half goal.
Toure gave Manchester City the lead in the 74th minute after Stoke failed to clear their lines. Potters keeper Thomas Sorensen stood no chance as Toure’s left foot shot was rifled into the back of the net.

By Jonathan McCormack: Micky Adams has signed a three year deal with Port Vale, with Gareth Owen returning in a player-coach role.
Rumour that Adams had re-signed for the Valiants had emerged on popular fan website “onevalefan.com” late last night, and this was confirmed by a statement from the club earlier today.
