Four men from Stoke-on-Trent have been arrested after raids by counter-terrorism officers across the country.
They were among 12 people held on suspicion of the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism in the UK.
The two 26-year-old men, a 25-year-old and a 19-year-old were arrested in raids at around 5am this morning.
