Delighted Lee Smart set his sights on a successful season after making a flying start for Stoke Easy Rider Potters.
Smart starred as the Potters gained their first win of the season on Sunday evening against an in-form Workington Comets at Loomer Road.
Smart scored 13+1 on his debut ride in a 48-42 win which earned Stoke two points, lifted them off the bottom of the Premier League and finally got their season up and running.
