StaffsLive has been given an exclusive look inside the Leek Road property which was gutted after the blaze on November 6.

The fire – which police are treating as unexplained – has caused around £80,000 worth of damage to the house.

Student blaze victim reveals knifepoint ordeal

EXCLUSIVE by Beth Hepple, Ted Woodward & Emma Glanfield: Students who escaped a Shelton house fire told today how they were held at knifepoint as their home was torched.

The students, speaking for the first time since the attack, revealed how one of them woke to find an intruder in his room threatening to stab him.

Moments later their house went up in smoke as the man fled the scene on Leek Road.

Staffordshire students “proud” of Demolition 10.11.10 protest
