Pippa graduated in Media Production in 2000 and has since worked in Television Production Management for several years in the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky and MTV, as well as in Short and Feature film development with the UK Film Council and various public funding organisations. She joined Staffordshire University in late 2007.

A Graduate of Staffordshire University, Richard has over 14 years of freelance production experience, and has worked in education for over a decade. Richard’s specialist area is in Post Production, giving technical instruction to students in Final Cut Studio and Pro Tools, as well as in DVD creation. Outside of the University, Richard serves as the Match Night Entertainment Director for Manchester Phoenix Ice Hockey Club, a top-flight sports team based in Altrincham, where Richard heads up an eight person media crew covering live sporting events and promotional filming shoots.

Both an ‘Apple Certified Trainer’ and ‘Apple Certified Professional’, Richard is the Specialist Technical Instructor for the Broadcasting & Journalism award areas. Chiefly specializing in video and audio post-production, Richard provides primary instruction and support for several of Apple’s industry standard editing applications, such as Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro & Motion. He also teaches students how to shoot for journalism on a range of HDV camcorders and supports the Media Centre’s dedicated broadcast news facilities. In addition, Richard holds two degrees in journalism, (one broadcast, the other print), his Masters Degree coming from Staffs in 2003.

Manoubi Ben Lamri

Manoubi has over fifteen years experience in film and video production. He has produced and directed short films, documentaries and video art projects. His films were projected in film festivals in Manchester, Birmingham and London. He has worked on many Local community-filming projects with The Youth Offending team, NORSACA, Fusion Link and the University NLDC project at Wedgwood. He obtained a Masters Degree in Fine Art in 2005. He has been at Staffordshire University since 1995.

Liz has recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University where she specialised in Film Production as a writer/director and producer. Liz is currently developing her fourth short and is in the initial stages of research for a TV drama.

Chris graduated from Media Production in 2009 and has worked at the Media Centre for over a year. He has camera operated on various shoots from commercial enterprises to short film. In 2010, Chris attended The Wildlife Film Academy in South Africa where he developed his passion and knowledge for wildlife documentary, which he pursues in his spare time. He is currently a freelance camera operator and editor.
