Environmental Management will be Spring 2012.

*Our courses feature modules accredited by IEMA and can lead to Associate
Membership of the Institute (AIEMA).
Our sustainability and environment programme offers you a choice of carefully
structured distance learning postgraduate awards. You are provided with
a unique opportunity to develop advanced knowledge, skills and understanding
in vital fields of study for the 21st century. From the global through
to the local level the challenges of sustainability and effective environmental
management are presenting a major agenda for change. Sustainability has
become the most important principle and framework for government policy,
organisational practice and community action at the beginning of the 21st
century. New strategies,
evaluation and monitoring techniques, approaches to participation, education
and policy making, and ultimately new ways of thinking are needed to take
us forward into a more environmentally and socially sustainable future.
• Study part-time alongside work or other commitments; or full-time
if you prefer.
• One, two or three years of study for a full Masters; nine months
for PgC.
• Internet-based study with two supporting workshops per year.
• Comprehensive ‘resource pack’ included in the course
fee.
• Access to on-line electronic journals and your local University
library.
• Accreditation with the IEMA
for the MSc courses and PgC.
