IESR Public Lectures in Regeneration

IESR has now changed its name to reflect the amount of work we do in the field of regeneration. As part of the new emphasis on regeneration activity, we are hosting a series of public lectures in regeneration.

MRC-funded research on environmental effects on health. A team from Staffordshire University, led by Professor Rachel Davey of the Sport and Exercise area, has just received a grant from the Medical Research Council to study the effects on health of environmental issues such as green space. IESR's Jon Fairburn and Graham Smith will be working on the project. More news to come.

Award of European-wide research grant to improve the environmental performance of SME’s

The European Leonardo Da Vinci Secretariat has awarded the Centre for Research into Corporate Responsibility and the Environment (CRCRE) a total of €548,725 for a three-year study to look at how small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) can more effectively improve their environmental performance.
