Regeneration Sector

The regeneration sector can comprise a very wide range of geographical issues for example, - housing, cultural, economic, transport, environment, sport & recreation, land remediation, economics, tourism.The practicals and tutorial programmes also provide with with useful techniques - surveys, questionnaires, focus groups, GIS, site visits.
From an academic and practical viewpoint it also lets you consider the issue of scale - EU, National, Regional, Local government and its impacts on funding streams and strategy.
There are also a wide range of voluntary groups in Stoke who would benefit from someone being able to help them with reserach issues.

Career prospects -The regeneration has sector been expanding rapidly, there is a shortage of labour (wages are good) and there are jobs in the public and private sector all over the UK.
