Your project forms a major component of the final stage of your award and hence has a major effect on the classification of degree you will be awarded.
Projects within Applied Sciences have common aspects irrespective of the precise discipline in which they are conducted. This is because all science is a process of asking questions that allow distinctions to be drawn between alternative explanations of particular events.
The pupose of these web pages is to provide a "portal" to existing sources of information that will provide you with guidance concerning critical common aspects of project work that you need to master in order to achieve the highest grade possible in your project.
Click on the links in the right hand column to take you to the specific reseources.
Since many links from these pages go outside this site, use the back button on your browser to return.
In addition to the web links provided please also bear in mind that individial disciplines within the Applied Sciences programme area have put project information on the Sciences server. This information is only acessible from computers within the university, but you can download parts onto a memory stick if you wish. The information is designed for use by students within those specific disciplines, but much of the content is generic to all science projects.
