I am the E-Learning Facilitator at Staffordshire University Law School. In that role I help to manage many of the School’s current teaching and learning technology developments and have been closely involved in a number of recent Enquiring Minds-related initiatives, including co-presentation of a paper ‘Enquiring Minds & information literacy: infiltrating the curriculum and challenging the assessment agenda’ at the annual conference of the Association of Law Teachers at Clare College, Cambridge 31st March 2009; web and on-line support for the bi-annual ‘Work & Welfare’ conference Family Welfare & Migration in 2009; developed a ‘tool kit’ of technology-supported learning, teaching methods, and assessment for a blended learning version of the Legal Practice Course (including development of the use of Ning forums and technologies to facilitate student ‘communities of learning practice’); as well as implementation of experiential approaches to learning opportunities, e.g. online discussion and ‘discussion boards, collaboration on student law research projects and developing distance learning courses.
