About Me

I have worked in nursing and midwifery health professions since 1980 and maintain a small clinical practice within the contraception and sexual health arena.

I contribute and develop to both the undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio within the School of Health and Social Care. In addition I am actively involved in Research Projects and collaboratively working with partner organisations which include acute and community Health Trusts and Professional Bodies.

  • Health Expert: DESTINTY PROJECT - DESTINY is a 3 year project funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Cooperation. Staffordshire University is hosting the DESTINY project which operates across Europe and involves Higher Education Institute’s working in cooperation with private sector organisations. Each Higher Education Institute (HEI) will work closely with a youth organisation to ensure access to work seekers (WS) and local employers, and to ensure recruitment and participation in MOOC study clubs (MSC).  http://destiny-eu.net/
