Landlord Registration

Staffordshire University is keen to encourage all landlords who let their properties to students to join our Private Sector Registration Scheme.

The advantages of registering your property include advertising to students at all times and anywhere in the world, information about houses is accessible, the details are displayed clearly and can be e-mailed between friends.

• We require landlords to read the Housing Handbook (PDF, file size: 165.03KB) before registering their property. The Handbook describes the schemes requirements, your legal obligations and offers useful advice. If you need any clarification on the contents of the Handbook, please contact the Accommodation Office.
• You will need to complete a Property Registration form for each of your properties. We will require a number of documents for your initial registration and these are listed in the Landlords List (PDF, file size: 8.64KB) document.

Your property will be advertised on the Staffordshire University Studentpad website. The advert will contain details of of the property you want to let and you can include up to 6 photographs.
