Employer is paying
If your employer is paying your tuition fees then you will need to obtain a purchase order from them before completing your online enrolment. In a few cases, a purchase order might not be used by your employer - in which case a letter of sponsorship must be obtained by you from your organisation. The document must be uploaded via your e:VisionStaffs portal. Please note that you will be personally responsible for the payment of your tuition fees if the University has not received a purchase order or letter of sponsorship for you at the point of enrolment. Please also note that a purchase order/letter of sponsorship is required for each year/block of your study.
Postgraduate students need to cover their tuition fees and also their living costs, and there is no general entitlements from Government Student Loans or Grants. To help and reduce the stress and worry this may have on students we have several ways in which to support the student. Find out more about postgraduate funding via the Student Office website.
Alumni discount - if you have previously completed an undergraduate degree with us, you are entitled to 15% off your course fee for any subsequent postgraduate taught course. (N.B. Alumni discount is not available to PGCE students). MPhil/PhD students who have previously completed a postgraduate taught course with Staffordshire University will also qualify for the alumni discount.
