Airnet Terms and Conditions
This policy is to ensure that the deployment of wireless networking is controlled and managed in a centralised way to provide functionality and optimum levels of service whilst maintaining network security. See IT Regulations
Wireless networks can be susceptible to attacks from unwanted parties. Do not run clear text application which may have personal or sensitive data over the wireless network, where possible use https:// or secure applications.
Protecting your machine
To minimise the risk of unauthorised access to your computer across the network it is strongly recommended that you do not share any of your files or folders on your hard drive.
Performance – The wireless network supports both 802.11b/g/n and 802.11ac standards. The bandwidth on the wireless network is shared. Therefore the larger the number of users the slower the network connection becomes.
