You'll gain the insight and experiences to hit the ground running including visits to specialist centres and organisations, child based learning and external trips to build team and leadership skills.
You may progress to work within family and children centres, care support, educational administration and management, play work or learning support. Alternatively, you may enter teaching through PGCE, Schools Direct and Schools Direct Salaried routes.

Guaranteed Work Experience
Who says students have never done a day's work? We provide the opportunity of work experience for all new students.
This work experience may link to your course, or it could be a broader experience. Our commitment will give students the best possible mix of knowledge and experience.
Our network of schools will support you in getting excellence core initial teacher training. Our PGCE awards are also designed to house our trainees in placements every week. But we ensure you'll form supportive bonds with peers and the degree leaders. You'll achieve this through a weekly subject specialist group meeting.
