Undergraduate Psychology Degrees

On our psychology degrees, you'll learn why people act the way they do. You'll understand why people feel what they feel and you'll apply scientific knowledge of the mind to recognise people's behaviour.

Studying psychology is an invitation to look into the essence of what makes us all tick. It gives you the perfect foundation for working with others in the future.

You'll work with different technologies to solve problems and use your initiative. Your home will be our £30 million dedicated Science Centre. Here you'll have specialist psychology labs, counselling suites and a £1 million biomechanics lab.

You'll learn from people recognised for giving outstanding levels of student satisfaction and our degrees achieve scores of over 90% in the National Student Survey.

Plus, the British Psychological Society (BPS), accredits all our undergraduate psychology degrees. This confers eligibility for Graduate Basis of Chartered Membership, which means you'll have taken your first step towards becoming a professional psychologist.

What our staff and students say

The facilities are impeccable and the teaching is outstanding. The whole team strive to make the content interesting and relevant to the current world of psychology. The lecturers are knowledgeable and so passionate about their topics and subject areas which really enriches the learning experience.

Megan Smith - Psychology & Child Development

I loved every minute of the course. One area of assessment was to do a PowerPoint presentation and teach the rest of the group about a long term condition and that's when I knew that teaching psychology was for me.

Victoria Fern - Psychology & Counselling

If you want to study well-planned, challenging and fascinating courses, in a friendly supportive environment you can't do better. Students have a great experience here, and our results speak for themselves.

Judy David - Academic Group Leader for Undergraduate Psychology
