Our facilities include a vast array of industry standard equipment, from our PROzone to our eye tracker software.
We also house our new 21st century teaching and learning classrooms with integrated Wolf Vision technology to enhance interactive learning through the use of mobile technologies in theory lessons.
Our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise students, who work under the supervision of BASES accredited staff, deliver services such as blood tests and body composition in our physiology and nutrition laboratories to improve your peak condition, regardless of fitness level or health status.
We have specialist laboratories in Biomechanics, Strength & Conditioning, Sports Therapy, Sports Psychology, Sport and Exercise Physiology and IT labs with specalist software such as Nutritics, Tacklesport, Dartfish and Prozone.
The Gait Analysis Laboratory within the Biomechanics Facility consist of Motion capture and associated software, Force Platforms, digital video camera and associated kinematic analysis software and plantar pressure measurement system. Our facilities allow for teaching, learning support and research.
Sports Therapy Clinic
Our BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy students work under the supervision of The Society of Sports Therapists accredited staff, to practice delivery of injury assessment, rehabilitation and sports massage. This involves the use of specialist ultrasound, electrotherapy and cryotherapy machines.
