The Thompson Library at the Stoke Campus is the largest of the University site libraries, housing materials and learning resources for all subject areas across four floor levels. It also houses most of the library resources for Arts, Media and Design subject areas.

PLEASE NOTE: During Self Service, the library is only open to Staffordshire University staff and students with a staff or student card.

Services and Facilities at a Glance

• Books are located on levels 1, 2 and 3.
• Periodicals, Newspapers, Abstracts, Indexes and Statistics can be found on Level 2.
• Videos and DVDs are on the ground floor level.
• Computers can be found on all levels along with Library catalogues.
• The  Study Skills Centre can be found on the ground floor.

Student Helpdesks - Opening Timess

Student Helpdesks in Libraries and Library Loans and Returns counters, are open during 'staffed library opening hours'.

IT Helpdesks in IT Centres are available during normal IT Centre opening.

PLEASE NOTE: Times may vary by 15 minutes due to opening and closing procedures.
