Fees for part-time students are charged pro-rata to the full-time fee and calculated on the number of credits taken per year.

**For international postgraduate research students who study in their home countries as a distance learner in 22/23, the fee will be the same as the UK postgraduate research students (£4,596). Please note that this fee is subject to guidance from UK Research & Innovation (UKRI).
Alumni discount
If you've previously completed a Staffordshire University undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree (excluding HND and foundation degrees) and are enrolling onto an eligible postgraduate programme at the University, you may be entitled to a discount off your course fees (terms apply).

Funding for student parents
Help with childcare costs
You may be eligible for government help with childcare costs through tax-free childcare, 2, 3 and 4 year old free childcare, (15 hours over 38 weeks) or (11 hours over 50 weeks), 3 and 4 year old free childcare (30 hours over 38 weeks) or (22 hours over 50 weeks), tax credits, universal childcare, care to learn. Paying for your postgraduate studies
You may wish to take out a loan to help pay for your course fees and living costs while you're studying. The money will be paid directly to you, and doesn't normally need to be paid back until you've graduated and your annual income is over the minimum threshold (currently frozen at £21,000).
