What to do if you test positive for COVID-19

Reporting your result

In order to keep our campus safe, we rely on every individual to play their part. Therefore, if you have a positive test result, or are displaying COVID-19 symptoms, we would ask that you continue to report any positive COVID-19 cases via our self-declaration form. This will allow us to monitor COVID-19 or suspected COVID-19 incidents across the University and help us avoid any local outbreaks.

It is also good practice to contact your Academic Mentor so that they are aware and can provide support to help you with your learning where appropriate.

If you are a close contact of a positive testing or symptomatic individual, you should continue to come onto campus. If you display symptoms later, or receive a positive test result, then you should follow the guidance above.

Who to contact for support

You can still contact our COVID Support and Response Team via telephone on 01782 298 500 or via email covid-19@staffs.ac.uk if you have any concerns.
