Course content

A flexible course structure, tailored to your development needs. You will attend an annual Course Induction Day where you will learn about the course structure and student support services. You will also develop your personal timetable for the academic year.

You will study modules totalling 120 credits at academic level 6. Your course comprises three mandatory modules, which provide 60 of these credits. You will select modules from our lifelong learning portfolio to complete the remaining 60 credits.

Entry requirements

You will be a registered ODP or nurse currently working in the operating department

Please note: Some optional modules have a practice-based element for which you wil need the support of your manager and you may need to nominate a suitably qualified mentor.
