How to Start Up Your Own Business Masterclass


An entrepreneur is mostly seen and perceived as an innovator. In this masterclass, you will learn how to be creative and generate new ideas for business ventures and also learn about the quality of leadership and how to unify like-minded individuals to gain maximum benefit.


Course overview

This session will cover:

  • Understanding entrepreneurship
  • Understanding the function of the entrepreneur in the successful, commercial application of innovations
  • Recognition of an entrepreneurial business idea
  • Identifying personal attributes that enable the best use of entrepreneurial opportunities
  • Exploring entrepreneurial leadership and management style
  • Understanding how to set up a business



The learner will leave the session with:

  • The knowledge to improve a company’s competitiveness, revenue, profits, operational efficiencies and general brand perception in the market
  • Skills to apply for work experience or future role
  • Skills learned through the session will be transferable across departments and across industries
  • The chance to network and build connections to take beyond university



On completion of this masterclass, learners will receive a certificate of learning.
