Entry requirements

You need to be involved in musculoskeletal practice as an Allied Health professional registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Sports Therapist or Biomechanist who support Allied Health professionals or a Medical professional.

Module Overview

With three designated contact days in the university gait lab this module will be dedicated to the study of musculoskeletal pathologies in the paediatric patient. There is a focus on assessment of the lower limb and diagnosis of conditions that may be isolated to the lower limb or those indicative of systemic pathology including Genetic, Inflammatory, Developmental, and Neurological.  Therapeutic intervention for such pathologies will be considered and evaluated as to the impact of locomotion and symptoms of presenting paediatric complaints
