Entry requirements

You need to be involved in musculoskeletal practice as an Allied Health professional registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Sports Therapist or Biomechanist who support Allied Health professionals or a Medical professional.

Module Overview

This distance learning module is dedicated primarily to the developmental stages of lower limb. The module will go on to explore the inter-relationships of: anatomy, physiology, form, function, health and environment. The main aim of this module is to facilitate an advanced knowledge base in the development and assessment of the paediatric patient with an emphasis on the lower limb. This will enhance clinical practice as a deeper understanding of pathology is gained. The content will be delivered online with a variety of weekly tasks set over an 8 week period.  There will be interactive video lectures, online discussion groups and set tasks to expand your learning in this area.
