Socially stunted


Socially Stunted: Working therapeutically to re-integrate teens experiencing anxiety and low self-esteem into a post-covid society.

Half a Day Workshop for professionals working with secondary school aged children in a professional setting.

The event will focus on working with children around some of the current post-covid, mental health concerns identified within this age group.

Participants will be provided with theory around understanding the presenting issues and take part in experiential workshops on how to help children overcome some of these difficulties.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage in 2 interactive workshops:

  1. Self-esteem and identity 
  2. Working with anxiety

Aimed at professionals working with secondary school aged children on an individual basis. This can be from backgrounds such as:

  • Secondary school staff
  • Trainee Therapist
  • Social Workers, including trainee Social Workers
  • Residential childcare workers
  • Foster Carers
  • Mental Health Workers
