Web Based Computing

Overview

This course looks at how current trends are used in the development of websites. It looks at both scripting and mark-up languages. Students will develop knowledge of how to design, implement and test aspects of a webpage.

On the day you will learn: 

  • Utilise design concepts and current trends in web design.
  • Design, create and test a web site using current web standards.
  • Web design trends and how design is important
  • Web accessibility basics – how to evaluate the current site

Award

On completion of this course, learners will receive a certificate of learning.
