A definitive introduction to the art of writing a short-screen play

typrwriteWriters dreaming of Hollywood success can gain tips at a script workshop being held at Staffordshire University.

Course leaders are experienced film-makers and teachers specifically trained to deliver this course.

Using team workshops, lectures and discussion groups, the course explores stages of development, script format, genre and how to get your script made into a film.

The course lasts four days, spread over a number of weeks and offers a valuable opportunity for feedback on screenplays, with opportunities for rewrites in-between sessions.

The course is suitable for complete beginners, for those who have some experience of writing, and for anybody who needs the inspiration to get going.

The course runs on April 12, 13, 19 and 26 and costs £90 (and £60 concs).

Those taking part must be aged 16 or over.
