Tuesday April 15: TV presenter, eco-expert and engineer-inventor Dick Strawbridge will be offering his BIG Ideas on sustainability at a free event for businesses to be held at Staffordshire University this Wednesday. 

Bringing Innovation in Growth (BIG), the business consortium organising the event, includes Staffordshire University, Keele University, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and Keele University Science and Business Park.

They have drafted in Dick Strawbridge for his sustainability and engineering expertise to offer insight to local companies on creating a sustainable business and highlighting the importance of British innovation and new efficient technologies. Following the talk there will be a chance for delegates to quiz an expert panel, which includes representatives from BIG.

The event, which local businesses can attend for free, is to be held at Staffordshire University Science Centre. There will also be an exhibition at BIG Ideas showcasing some of the innovative projects taking place between the Universities and businesses.
