Professor Foreman is responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of the School, which is based in Leek Road, Stoke and Stafford’s Octagon Building.
Until recently Professor Foreman was the Director of Open Programmes and Professor of Marketing at Henley Management College.
Her aim is to develop the Business School into a diverse learning community of managers, leaders and entrepreneurs who can contribute to the wider business community.
Professor Foreman taught on almost all of the postgraduate programmes and executive courses at Henley.
She has worked extensively throughout Europe, in Scandinavia, the Middle East, and in west and South Africa.
Professor Foreman said she was keen to build relationships between the University and the business community.
“It’s about getting in touch with businesses in the region to see what we can provide for them, and identify their needs.
“Life Long Learning is very important to us, and we want to ensure our relationship with students does not end when they leave.”
Professor Foreman is also keen to build on Staffordshire University’s working relationship with companies and public bodies such as Staffordshire Police, the NHS and JCB.
