New partnership sparks new opportunities for students and graduates

Staffordshire University students and graduates are to reap the benefits of a new partnership with a national insurance claims specialists.

Davies Group, which employs more than 200 people at its Stoke–on-Trent offices, sealed the deal during a recent visit to Staffordshire University by its Chief Executive Dan Saulter.

The unique partnership with Staffordshire University seeks to promote career opportunities and professionalism in the claims industry.

It will initially see Davies take on students from Staffordshire University for a range of project based in the Claims, HR, IT and Finance functions at its Stoke offices. Other students will be offered a variety of work experience opportunities providing them with knowledge of the insurance sector and claims specifically.

In September 2015, Davies and Staffordshire University will be launching a two year graduate training programme which offers successful candidates the opportunity to work towards professional qualifications and hands-on experience at Davies offices throughout the UK and Ireland. Interviews will commence in February 2015.
