We're excited to launch #SecretStaffs, a campaign to unlock the hidden gems at Staffordshire University. We have some fantastic facilities on campus from a flight simulator to a firing range and we want to shout about them!
Let us know about the places, people or projects on campus that you think should be featured. Share your #SecretStaffs hidden gems on social media or contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Staffordshire University Nature Reserve
We join Dr Dave Skingsley (aka the Bug Botherer) on a crisp autumn morning for a tour of Staffordshire University's nature reserve.
Despite its city centre location, Staffordshire University has a number of green and open areas rich in and helping support biodiversity, including a dedicated Natural Heritage Nature Reserve of some 10 hectares. Situated at the edge of the Leek Road campus, in the heart of the Potteries, the Reserve is one of the most important wildlife sites in the city.
The Reserve is open to the public all year round and is also used by students on Biological Sciences courses. Watch the video
