Bethany Hepher

Recruitment Development Officer

School of Justice, Security and Sustain

I have worked at Staffordshire University for 4 years, initially in a Personal Assistant role for the Employer Partnerships service. In this role, I supported the Senior Management Team with the delivery of apprenticeships, business development, and career guidance and advice.

I quickly found my niche in an apprenticeship-focused role supporting the Universities apprenticeship provision mostly. I frequently participated in the acquisition of bids and tenders on behalf of Employer Partnerships specifically, the bid to deliver the new Policing Education Qualification Framework (Police Apprenticeships, PCDA and the Graduate Diploma, DHEP) in collaboration with 4 regional Police Forces. From this, I moved into a Programme Assistant focused role managing the initial PEQF project within the University and was then able to move into a recruitment focused role within the Institute of Policing.
