Before joining Staffordshire University's Institute of Policing, I worked alongside Staffordshire Police as a Service Coordinator within the victim support team. My roles included a Sexual and Domestic Violence Liaison Worker and Complex Crime Caseworker.

For five years I worked within a domestic violence recovery centre, delivering support and awareness programmes to both adults and children.

I have also previously worked within the charitable sector, promoting and raising awareness of support services across Staffordshire.
