I first joined Staffordshire University in November 1992 as a part-time technician in the School of Sciences Physics department and later moved to the Sport and Exercise department.

After working two part-time jobs for several years I then became a full-time technician at Staffs.
I mainly support the Psychology, Sport and Exercise department but also cover other areas of the University when required including Nursing and Midwifery and Social Work.

Research interests

Pre-season Physiology Fitness testing of Stoke City FC first team – 2012.

Fitness testing of Woverhampton Wanderers FC U12's - 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Pre-season fitness testing of Crewe Alexandra 1st team and Academy players 2017.

I also provide support the Peak Condition Clinic which is a Student led Sport and Exercise fitness testing clinic, conducting tests such as VO2 max tests, Lactate tests and Bod Pod tests on Athletes and members of the public.
