Technical Instructor-Sport & Ex & Psych

Technical Services

I joined the Staffordshire University in April 2002 as an IT technician and moved to my current role as a Technical Instructor in April 2003. Over the years I have learnt many new skills within the Psychology, Sport and Exercise.

I provide support for the Biomechanics and Gait lab (R004) as well as providing general support in the areas of Psychology, Sport and Exercise. Main duties are to provide support for all levels teaching and research actives that are undertaken within these areas. As well as assisting with the development for testing equipment for dissertation and research projects.

After working within different industries since leaving school in 1986, I started to get an interest in computers in 1997 where I learnt to build and troubleshoot computers for friends and family. I was given the opportunity to join Staffordshire University in 2002, initially on a fixed term basis that subsequently led to full time, permanent employment and I have remained with the University since that time.
